E-scooters are a generally slightly larger than standard scooters, with folding handles for compactness. These are surprisingly fast, but their small wheels are always compatible with loose stones or slight steps in the pavement. Build up skill before building up speed. They have the advantage over bikes in that you can take them onto the bus and into your office/workplace/school room.
Where can I use my E-scooter?
E-scooters can be legally used both on the footpath or on the road but are really best on cycle or shared paths. Use a bell to warn pedestrians that you are approaching, and overtake at no more than a fast walking pace.
